Composition, Sound Design, and Music Production by Scott Weiser
Scott Weiser is a San Francisco Bay Area composer, sound designer,
and music producer. Scott attended the Sound Arts program at Ex'pression
College for Digital Arts and earned a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in
September 2007.  Scott was the Valedictorian of his class and is currently the
manager of Studio 4D8, a private production studio located just south of San
Francisco.  Scott also worked at Skywalker Sound as a Foley Recordist for the 2008 films "Iron Man" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".   Scott's sound design work for Snibbe Interactive was heard at the Johnson & Johnson Beijing Olympic Pavillion as well as at the new California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.  Scott is also the editing and mastering engineer for Alcazar Audioworks, a Burlingame based Audiobooks company.  

recent work

- Scott has begun another collaboration with local aggregate artist, Erin Gallup on an installation called "The Usa Family Estate".  Scott is programming and creating multimedia content for the installation.  - Scott recently recorded and will soon begin mixing a full length release of primarily improvised works by Verdandia, a Violin/Harp duo based in Oakland.   more...
